Coltunasi cu Branza or Cheese Dumpling Recipe
Coltunasi cu Branza is often served as an appetizer.
200 gr cow
cheese
1 egg
1 flour teaspoon, salt
2 tablespoons butter,
dough for noodles
500 grams flour
2 eggs
1 / 2 teaspoon salt
1 cup hot
water
Stretch the dough and cut it in squares of about 5-6cm. Mix the
cheese with 1 egg, flour and salt. in every square put with a teaspoon of the composition you just made from the cheese, then
bend the dough pieces in 2 so they form triangles and tighten them on edges so the dough sticks. They boil at middle flame in a big
pan with water for about 30 minutes. Drain them from water and scald them in butter. They are served hot with sugar on them.
