Oltenian Pig Stew Recipe
Food items needed and amounts for 6 servings:
800g pork
500g tomatoes
100g lard
100g onions
10g
salt
2g pepper
Preparation:
The meat is cleaned and washed and cut into suitable sized pieces, and then it is crisped
in hot grease.
Add the onion sliced thin which has been soaked, add peeled sliced tomatoes added salt and pepper after
most of the liquid has boiled off. Cover the pot tightly with a lid and cooked until ready.
May be served with chopped
parsley on top.
